As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and developing data pipelines and storage solutions that elevate our data capabilities. Your work will focus on creating efficient, scalable, and secure data ecosystems that help propel the company and our customers forward. You’ll bring your expertise in cloud technologies and modern data frameworks to collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring our data infrastructure aligns with business goals and growth trajectories.

What You'll Do?

  • Pipeline Development: Build and optimize data pipelines utilizing PySpark and Apache HUDI, delivering high-performance solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with best practices
  • AWS Technology Integration: Leverage AWS services, including EMR, Glue, S3, Lambda, and KMS, to construct and secure robust, high-quality data environments
  • Workflow Orchestration: Utilize MWAA (Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow) to streamline and automate data processes, ensuring seamless data flow and efficient orchestration
  • Performance & Cost Optimization: Continuously optimize data solutions for performance and cost efficiency within cloud environments, applying proven techniques for performance tuning and cost management
  • Code Excellence: Write clean, optimized code with a commitment to readability, performance, and maintainability, upholding the highest coding standards and best practices
  • Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, leveraging your data expertise and strong problem-solving skills to drive innovative solutions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proficient in PySpark and Apache HUDI for efficient data pipeline development
  • Solid experience with AWS technologies, including:
    • EMR (Elastic MapReduce)
    • Glue (for ETL and data cataloging)
    • S3 (data storage)
    • Lambda (serverless functions)
    • KMS (Key Management Service for security)
  • Experienced in managing CI/CD pipelines and developing AWS CloudFormation templates to automate testing, integration, and scalable infrastructure deployments
  • Skilled in using MWAA (Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow) for effective workflow orchestration
  • Demonstrated experience in performance tuning and cost optimization within cloud environments
  • Proven track record of producing high-quality, optimized code with a strong emphasis on readability, performance, and maintainability
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail and efficiency
  • Effective collaboration skills, thriving in cross-functional, Agile team environments
