Job description

We are looking for an experienced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning expert for the role of Senior AI Engineer! Join our team to develop modern ML and GenAI solutions for our clients. We seek a professional with a strong background in both AI and data science who can elevate our clients' AI projects to the next level.

Your tasks will look like this:

1. Acting as an AI expert, designing and implementing intelligent solutions in client projects.
2. Creating innovative AI solutions on a broad scale, from simple statistical models to pioneering GenAI applications.
3. Transforming clients' business challenges into concrete AI models and solutions that deliver measurable added value.
4. Participating in the further development of our clients' existing AI projects.
5. Analyzing and interpreting large datasets, refining them into critical insights to support decision-making.
6. Working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
7. Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends in the AI field and bringing new ideas and technologies to our company.
8. Developing clients' internal tech competencies.

You’ll get to work on challenging projects in interesting industries and domains using the latest methods and technologies. You’ll work closely with the clients and your teammates to give input into projects and shape the final solution.

We expect you to have:

1. Strong experience in developing and implementing AI solutions, as well as in statistical and mathematical modeling.
2. Experience with Python.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
4. Some experience with cloud and/or data engineering.
5. The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
6. A relevant higher education degree (e.g., computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics) or equivalent work experience.
7. Fluency in both Finnish and English.
