Head of Marketing

Executive Level: We are a vigorous team of professionals specialized in providing premium executive search and assessment experience to the business world. Among the various industries we recruit for, we are exclusively retained to find a Head of Marketing for our partner, Pricefox.gr, leader in its sector, an innovative price comparison platform for services in Greece.

Job Position

Pricefox.gr, the exciting start-up, backed by the Antenna Group and Nova Founders Capital, is looking for a Head of Marketing to join our company’s management team. You will work hand-in-hand with the co-Founder and CEO, tackling the most important issues that a fast-growing start-up faces on a daily basis. You will own your work end to end, expected to implement your proposals while managing more junior colleagues. You will design and execute our marketing strategy across all channels (online and offline).

Responsibilities

• You will be overall responsible for strengthening our brand, driving growth in traffic, managing and recruiting the company’s marketing team, and being a critical part of the management team.
• You will leverage a wide array of skills (analytical, creative, operational, strategic) to build the brand and optimize current marketing efforts across channels.
• You will take pride in teaching a group of young marketing professionals and interns the ropes of modern, analytically driven digital marketing.
• Own and allocate the marketing budget towards the channels with the highest short- and long-term ROIs to maximize both top and bottom line.
• Strategically and tactically optimize our paid acquisition channels, including e.g. Google and Facebook Ads.
• Develop and optimize adjacent paid channels such as IG, YouTube, Snapchat, and TV.
• Drive and execute on SEO-related activities.
• Build the company brand through marketing and PR efforts.
• Co-develop the overall company strategy and own the marketing roadmap.
• Cultivate a can-do mentality, lead by example, and continuously ensure that the best team is in place, i.e., hire and develop the right people.
• Analyze marketing and product data to optimize return on marketing spend.
• Identify creative opportunities for the company to grow.

The Ideal Candidate

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English. Can-do attitude to drive change.
• Strong social fit to company culture; independent and energetic with a can-do and go-get attitude adding more energy to the group than you absorb.
• “Growth hacking” and execution mindset; commitment to timelines and constantly seeking to deliver impact and results.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to optimize the marketing approach through numerical analyses.
• Ability to be both detailed and hands-on while being able to zoom out for strategic decisions.
• A strong understanding of both performance marketing and organic channels (particularly SEO). Knowledge of other types of marketing (email, SoMe, affiliate marketing, etc.) is a definite plus.
• Team management experience; knowledge of how to motivate and leverage junior resources to consistently deliver high-quality output.
• Experience in optimizing conversion rates from insights and analyses on UI/UX.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the role.
