Do you want to shape the future?

Your function

Reporting to the head of R&D, you will be developing our current FTTx product range, focusing on delivering designs and concepts, creating manuals and technical documentation and performing product testing. You will work closely with our international sales team and provide technical support and design concepts based on customer requirements and needs. And with your support, our QC team will succeed in delivering your high-quality products to a satisfied customer. In short, you will:

1. Develop fiber optic and FTTx product-concepts and -designs
2. Create and evaluate prototypes
3. Act as technical support for sales in product presentations of your designs, initially in BeNeLux and Germany
4. Create and maintain related technical documentation
5. Support Quality Control in setting up related product testing and verification

Your profile

1. Competent in 3D design with professional software (e.g. SolidWorks)
2. Experience in fiber optic product designs, knowledge of plastic materials and using them in designs
3. Understanding of fiber optic technology and FTTx networks (seen as benefit)
4. Interest and knowledge towards environmental requirements and how to utilize in designs (seen as benefit)
5. Patience, passionate, rigor, applied, hands-on
6. Initiative, independent, sociable, team player
7. Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
8. Good command of the English language (both in word and writing); other languages would be a plus
