Doctoral Scholarship in Molecular Medicine: The Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Eastern Finland is offering 15 Doctoral Researcher positions in the Doctoral Programme in Molecular Medicine. This program aims to train researchers as international experts in modern biomedicine, focusing on various research areas such as cardiovascular diseases, neurosciences, diabetes, stem cell research, inflammatory diseases, and cancer.

Doctoral Researcher Scholarship in Molecular Medicine

Minimum Requirements:

• Hold a relevant Master’s degree from a university or equivalent
• Proficiency in English language
• Meet the student admission criteria for the doctoral programme
• Planning or pursuing their first doctoral degree
• Registered or planning to register for postgraduate studies at the University of Eastern Finland
• Full-time doctoral research must not exceed four years by December 31, 2024

Job Description:

The duties of a Doctoral Researcher include conducting research related to their doctoral dissertation in alignment with their approved research proposal. The aim is to complete the doctoral degree in four years of full-time study. The positions are filled for a maximum of three years, starting on 1 January 2025, and a trial period is applied to new appointees.
