Doctoral Researchers in Medicine/Life Sciences: The Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland (FIMM) is pleased to announce openings for Doctoral Researchers in Molecular Medicine and Life Sciences as part of the Nordic EMBL Partnership for Molecular Medicine. This international PhD program, starting in August 2024, offers an interdisciplinary approach, allowing researchers to participate in a rotation program across 2-3 different research groups before selecting a group for their doctoral studies.

Eligibility: Candidates should hold a second-cycle academic degree (MSc, MD, or equivalent) in biology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, biotechnology, cell biology, computer science, genetics, mathematics, medicine, or related fields, obtained before the program’s start in August 2024. Proficiency in English, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and in an international team are essential.
Required Documents: Applicants must submit a single PDF file containing a Curriculum Vitae (max. 3 pages), a Cover Letter (max. 1 page) detailing research interests and motivation, and Letters of Recommendation from at least two referees.
