We are now looking for a Business Controller to join our Finance team in Helsinki.

About the role

As a Business Controller you will analyse and explain financial information to support the local business areas in decision making. You will support in steering the business by consistent financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting activities. You will work closely together with other Finance team members in coordinating stakeholder requirements of financial information.

The local Finance team operates as part of the global Group Finance organisation, with its head office in Stockholm and shared service units (GFPS) in Vilnius and Riga. In Finland we are a highly skilled team of 5 employees working with Financial Controlling, Business Controlling, Regulatory Reporting and Tax.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have

1. A team-player and curious mindset, passion for finance and drive to reach the best solutions.
2. An academic degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or equivalent combined with at least 1 year of relevant working experience.
3. Ability to collect, analyse, structure and present business data in an easily understandable manner.
4. Business acumen and understanding of banking products will support you in your role.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Finnish is considered an advantage.
6. Skills in Microsoft Office programs.
