Job description

Aalto University is looking for a Professor in Film Directing.

The position is located at the Department of Film, Television and Scenography – ELO Film School Finland. The start date is January 1st, 2018, or as otherwise agreed. The position can be filled at either the Associate or Full professor level within the Aalto University Tenure Track system.

Responsibilities:

1. Teaching and developing methodologies in film directing.
2. Educating students to become professionals in film and TV.
3. Participating in program and department development.
4. Collaborating within and outside of Aalto University.
