What you’ll do

The design, implementation and operationalisation of VBPS Domains, is a critical enabler to realising SPARK ambitions. The VBPS Domains, and imperatively the Cloud & SaaS Domain have the following objectives:

  • To build country/location agnostic capabilities that will drive accelerated time to market and scaled adoption of the strategic Cloud & SaaS capability portfolio.
  • Through scaled operations, deploy a build once deploy many opportunity so Vodafone markets can provide Customers with digital solutions at pace, with a consistent & differentiated CX and with a competitive price point.

The Cloud & SaaS Domain Lead is a senior member of the VBPS team and will have the following accountabilities:

  • Strategy: The role holder will commission, utilise and analyse both market & Vodafone insight to set the strategy and will be required to work with Senior stakeholders across Vodafone Business to ensure buy-in & sign off. The strategy will include definition of Operating Model, capability launch roadmap in conjunction with Vodafone Business Product & VBTS senior stakeholders. 
  • Transformation & Partnership: The role holder will be responsible for developing the associated high level transformation plan, agenda and associated business cases, will lead a large matrix organisation across Vodafone Business and will need to develop a solid interlock and shared objectives with the Product & Platform engineering teams to ensure the Cloud & SaaS Products are built and implemented in a scaled approach, also influencing senior stakeholders in Vodafone and in Partner/Vendor organisations to ensure the objectives of the Cloud & SaaS Domain are realised.
  • Operational Excellence: There will likely be significant periods when the role holder will be required to focus on operational excellence and driving the optimum Customer experience, whilst continuing to evolve the strategy, roll out the transformation plans, whilst onboarding new markets and thus serving new Customers in the Cloud & SaaS Domain.
  • Leadership: The role holder is expected to lead on multiple layers both in terms of setting the vision to acting as the senior escalation point for service delivery of the cloud & saas domain. They will have matrix/ling management accountabilities and will be part of the steering committee to drive business decisions
  • Governance: The role holder will be expected to guide, advise and participate on various steering boards as well as lead and chair their own required decision boards.
