The Opportunity
Are you passionate about working for one of the world's largest insurers with offices in 54 countries? We have an excellent opportunity for a Scrum Master to join our Property and Casualty (P&C) IT team.
Team Purpose
The team focuses on delivering integrated platforms across submission, rating, underwriting, policy admin, and claims, along with enhanced data analytics and business intelligence.
Role Purpose
We are seeking a skilled Scrum Master to lead one of our scrum development teams. Your primary responsibility will be to guide and support our development teams, ensuring efficient collaboration and value-driven delivery.
To fulfill this role, you will have to be able to:
- Act as a servant leader for the team, encouraging collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate all Scrum rituals including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective meetings.
- Coach and mentor team members on Scrum principles and best practices.
- Remove obstacles that hinder the team's progress and ensure the completion of committed sprint goals.
- Maintain and update the team's tools and artifacts.
- Work closely with project managers and business to ensure efficient utilization of the methodology.
- Promote effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the implementation of best practices.
- Conduct regular assessments and performance evaluations.
- Share knowledge and insights with the team and organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields
- 5+ years of work experience as a Scrum Master
- CSM certification or equivalent
- Proven experience leading Agile development teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Agile tools like Jira
- Experience in software development or technical projects preferred

- Strong motivation, organizational skills, and teamwork
- Flexibility, willingness to travel, and fluency in English
