We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer
specializing in AWS to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage
your extensive knowledge of AWS services and software engineering best
practices to design, develop, and maintain innovative cloud-based solutions. As
a senior member of our engineering team, you will provide technical leadership,
mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver
scalable and secure applications that drive our business forward.
A day in the life of
- Design and architect cloud-native applications and services using AWS.
- Develop scalable, resilient, and secure architecture solutions.
- Define and implement best practices for cloud adoption and migration.
- Write high-quality, maintainable code in languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- Develop and maintain microservices and serverless applications using AWS Lambda, ECS, and EKS.
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Implement security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Lead technical discussions and provide expert guidance to development teams.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers to develop their technical skills.
- Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies and industry trends, and share knowledge with the team.

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS services.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with core AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, ECS, EKS).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, ArgoCD, AWS CDK).
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
