Job Description

You will report directly to the Head of Global Retail Architecture. Collaborating with esteemed specialists, you will assume a crucial position in the orchestration and supervision of resources dedicated to sourcing services for the Retail Architecture department, serving as the principal strategic buyer. Foremost, anticipate a spectrum of engaging and varied responsibilities within the dynamic framework of our agile business environment.

Your main duties will be the following:

• Lead and supervise direct and dotted line reports responsible for purchasing activities related to Retail Architecture.
• Partner with the Head of Global Retail Architecture Development & Planning to design and implement effective strategies for sourcing processes, ensuring development and execution for all goods and services within the assigned category.
• Take charge of designing, consolidating, and overseeing "Global Forecasting," with a specific emphasis on furniture and devices.
• Ensure optimal sourcing of goods and services, focusing on price, quality, delivery and logistics, while managing supplier relationships to maintain a robust supplier base.
• Actively participate in the implementation of global sourcing initiatives, overseeing tasks such as negotiating and maintaining supply agreements, supporting global contract negotiations, and managing contracts throughout their lifecycle.

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for a candidate who brings along the following:

• Deep procurement know-how as well as industry and process experience, including benchmarking skills
• Proficient in SAP and good Excel skills
• Outstanding level of flexibility and sensitivity in the collaborative process
• Excellent English language skills, knowledge of German language is a plus
