Job Description:

The Finance NextGen Programme is an Airbus Defence & Space-wide development programme designed to identify and develop talented leaders for the Airbus Finance Community. The programme enables participants to enhance financial know-how, expertise, management, and leadership competencies.

The mission of the programme:

• Fostering and deepening participants' financial knowledge and expertise on the Airbus world of Finance, enlarging the scope to the international financial context
• Linking formal learning with rotating, real-business project assignments
• Increasing participants' project management and leadership competencies
• Encouraging networking, job shadowing, mobility, and cross-cultural experiences
• Mentorship from a member of the Finance Top Management

This Program consists of two assignments in two different countries, each lasting two years. For the first assignment, this position can be based in Madrid, Toulouse, or Munich. Responsibilities for the first two years include:

- Consolidating the combined and consolidated Divisional/Group financial information for Monthly, Quarterly, and Annually closings, complying with IFRS standards

- Contributing to the analysis of Financial Information and delivering data to different customers

- Developing analysis to support decision-making

- Performing necessary consolidation restatements and documenting entries

- Rationalizing the impact of financial statements and ensuring effective communication to stakeholders

- Acting as the focal point for accounting topics within the assigned entities

- Being the LEAN Change agent for the Airbus Consolidation team

- Contributing to additional information check and preparation for Airbus Group disclosures

Required Skills:

• Master’s degree in Finance and International Accounting
• Good knowledge of group consolidation in an international context, IFRS, and financial internal control standards
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Google suite
• Experience with SAP SEM BCS or another consolidation tool is a plus
• Ability to work with stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds
• Fluency in English, additional languages such as German, French, or Spanish are a plus
