Cambridge International Systems, Inc. has a full-time Network Engineer opportunity available based in Moehringen, Germany.
Qualified candidates for this job must possess a current DoD Secret security clearance and meet TESA accreditation requirements. TESA Certification allows employees to be tax exempt for both Germany and US, in addition to other great perks.

Role Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain identity and access management (IAM) systems, including authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) protocols.
- Develop and implement identity management strategies and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, including those related to secure military environments and cloud computing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy IAM solutions that meet business requirements and security standards, including those related to classified networks and systems.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate potential security threats to identity systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IAM systems, including system architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting guides.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the IAM space and make recommendations for future system enhancements and upgrades.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure that IAM systems are aligned with organizational security policies and procedures, including those related to secure military environments and cloud computing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 5+ years of experience in IAM systems, including design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of IAM protocols, including SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
- Experience with IAM solutions such as Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta, or Ping Identity.
- Strong understanding of security principles, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
- Experience with scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in a secure military environment, including classified networks and systems.
- Understanding of military security policies and procedures, and experience with military-specific IAM solutions like DoD ICAM.
- Experience with cloud-based IAM solutions such as AWS IAM, Azure AD, or Google Cloud IAM.
- Security Certifications: Must hold a Security+ certification or higher (e.g., CISSP, CEH).
- Active Secret security clearance.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with scripting in PowerShell.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
Travel Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 10%. Overnight travel may be required.
- Active Passport for OCONUS travel and/or living requirements.
Physical Environment and Working Conditions
- Work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer most of the day.
- May require short-distance travel within facilities.
