Our global and local expertise means we understand the breadth of challenges that solar installers face. To grow our team, we are looking for you as Insurance Manager (m/f/d) for photovoltaic wholesale business in Munich or Tübingen (both Germany) + hybrid, starting as soon as possible.

• You will be the go-to person for all insurance matters within the “Solar Trade” division of BayWa r.e. Group – with a focus on the EMEA region
• Collaborating with our subsidiaries, insurance brokers, and insurance companies in a global context
• Monitoring insurance coverage, policy terms and renewals, and supporting claims procedures
• Streamlining processes and improving information flows related to insurance
• Assisting in the design of internal insurance premiums allocations
• Ensuring all insurance documentation is complete and up to date

• Completed training as an insurance broker/insurance specialist (Versicherungskaufmann:frau), or completed studies in economics or insurance sciences, or first state examination in law, respectively Master of Laws
• At least three years of subsequent professional experience in handling insurance matters for enterprises (acquired with an insurance company, an insurance broker, or in the insurance department of an enterprise)
• Solid knowledge of insurance markets, coverages, and industry practices
• Ability to work across countries and with a variety of stakeholders; potentially occasional travels to subsidiaries in EMEA
• You actively support the digital transformation in the insurance department and contribute ideas for the digital optimisation of our processes
• Additional qualification as an insurance specialist (Versicherungsfachwirt:in)/ insurance business administrator (Versicherungswirt:in) or certification as a corporate client advisor (Firmenkundenberater:in) is a plus – as is knowledge in (international) wholesale and/or the photovoltaic industry
• Potential interest in taking on more responsibility within the insurance function in the longer term
• Business fluent in German and English (written and spoken), additional languages is a plus
