Senior Platform Engineer (m/f/d) (Q1102)

The LANCOM Management Cloud enables our customers to setup and monitor tens, hundreds, or thousands of LANCOM network devices. Using the latest technologies for modern cloud-based web applications, we work in agile, cross-functional teams to build software that makes network administrators happy.

And that’s where you come in! As a Senior Platform Engineer (m/f/d) you ensure the seamless operation of the infrastructure of our LANCOM Management Cloud.

Your challenge:

• Design, setup and operation of Kubernetes platforms with the LANCOM SaaS stack
• Responsibility for the entire lifecycle of the system; continuous improvement of security, performance, availability and reliability
• Automation of tests, deployments, configuration and updates (GitOps, Infrastructure as Code)
• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Collaboration with our DevOps- and quality engineers and software developers
• Representing the platform team in meetings and workshops
• Optional remunerated participation in 24/7 on-call duty

Your profile:

• Several years of professional experience in the design, development and operation of Kubernetes platforms
• Sound knowledge of working with Linux (e.g. Ubuntu, Debian)
• Deep understanding of network technologies
• Experience with geo-redundant high availability concepts and securing Kubernetes (DevSecOps)
• Good knowledge of data systems (PostgreSQL, Kafka) is desirable
• Affinity for IT security issues and a good analytical understanding of interrelationships in complex systems
• Engagement, ability to work in a team and an open and confident appearance
• Very good knowledge of German and English
