Senior Business Analyst (m/f/d) Payments
Worldline is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to translate business requirements into solution designs, focusing on optimization and implementations for our core payments processing systems. The role emphasizes payments processing infrastructures, both for straight-through processing (STP) and manual processing, with a main focus on the core Payments 2.0 platform.
Responsibilities
- Design payments processing functionalities and enhance the Payments 2.0 processing framework.
- Bridge between client-facing components and Worldline systems to ensure a robust end-to-end processing infrastructure for serviced clients.
- Enhance the existing payments processing core system Payments 2.0 to ensure seamless daily payments for clients.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and other senior roles internal and external to Worldline.
- Work with stakeholders at client sites or within Worldline operating units to understand business needs, drive continuous improvement, and ensure successful implementation of technical solutions.
- Maintain daily business stability while driving future optimizations; apply in-depth knowledge of European payments processing schemes and the Payments 2.0 application framework.
- Translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or Information Technology.
- At least 10 years of experience in the payments business domain.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst designing complex, large-scale, business-critical solutions.
- Experience working in a complex business environment within the financial industry value chain.
- Strong organizational talent, initiative, and analytical skills; ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and work in multi-disciplinary teams.
- In-depth knowledge of Payments 2.0 processing framework; long-term experience in SEPA, SWIFT, and MX payments processing.
- Experience designing mission-critical processing systems and knowledge of Agile methodologies and Jira or similar tools.
- Ability to bridge business requirements and software development, and to convey complex issues clearly.
