Your role and team

What you’ll do and who you are: We are looking for a talented Senior Business Analyst joining our dealer inventory & performance cluster at mobile.de. You will play a vital role in understanding the performance of our services for professional dealers and support business stakeholders in achieving strategic goals, working with diverse, collaborative teams. You will become a direct member of the Dealer Analytics Team, an eight-person team of experienced product and business analysts. From day one you will be an integral part of the team with onboarding and opportunities for development. We work in a hybrid setup and meet once a week in our office in Berlin.

Your Main Responsibilities Include

• Act as a proactive business partner within the team, delivering insights that challenge assumptions and guide business development and initiatives.
• Define, monitor, and own key metrics frameworks; build intuitive dashboards for self-service tracking of progress and impact.
• Create business performance forecasts, incorporate strategic input, and manage processes around target setting and performance reporting.
• Analyze existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to boost productivity and value.
• Advocate for and promote data-driven decision-making within cross-functional teams.
• Stay abreast of competition, technology, and market trends to inform strategic decisions.

You bring a strong analytical mindset and a passion for turning data into actionable business insights, including:

• 3+ years of experience in an analytical role, ideally within e-commerce or cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in data analysis/forecasting tools and languages (e.g. SQL, Python) and experience with data visualization and BI tools (e.g. Looker, DBT).
• Excellent prioritization, project management, and organizational abilities; comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
• A consultant mentality, acting as a business partner to both teams and management.
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A passion for building clear, impactful data presentations and driving business impact.
