Your mission
As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial success of Freaks 4U Gaming by managing and growing relationships with key clients. Your mission is to understand and anticipate client needs, delivering strategic solutions that maximize business opportunities and profitability. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships. By maintaining strong communication, ensuring smooth project execution, and achieving financial targets, you will contribute to the growth and global standing of Freaks 4U Gaming.
Key Responsibilities:- Full commercial responsibility and leadership for selected key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and growth
- Identifying client needs and developing detailed, data-driven, and tailored customer plans, including strategies to increase business volume, market research, and top-notch client management
- Achieving revenue and profitability targets, continuously monitoring progress to ensure targets are met
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients at executive levels throughout the sales cycle
- Identifying up-selling opportunities and maximizing business potential for Freaks 4U Gaming
Additional Emphasis:In this role, you will ensure that all commercial and contractual terms within identified agreements are adhered to, while managing complex contract negotiations with support from the legal team. You will oversee service level performance to ensure it is consistently measured, delivered, and reported in a timely manner. Taking full responsibility for communication and operational and strategic work with key clients, you will independently prepare project and campaign briefs to guarantee flawless execution by service departments. Additionally, you will be accountable for budget control and ensure profitability across all client projects. Be prepared for frequent travel, including weekends, to attend industry-relevant events and client meetings.
Your profile
Required Skills:
- Several years of experience in account management, preferably within an agency setting
- Proven experience selling agency services based on client needs
- Strong sales acumen
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to manage project teams autonomously
- Ability to prioritize tasks amidst competing demands
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English (required); proficiency in German is a plus
Desired Skills:- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Economics, or a related field, or relevant vocational training
- Familiarity with the trends, key players, and market dynamics within the gaming and esports sectors, which would be highly relevant to the role
- Ability to foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, publishers, and industry partners
- Skilled in creating and executing innovative strategies that enhance client and publisher experiences
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands effectively
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage client interactions and track business development efforts
- Experience in managing projects and executing sales strategies, which can aid in organizing client engagements and strategic initiatives
