Overview

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) plays a pivotal role in driving the success, growth, and development of OrderYOYO within their designated region. Acting as the local business unit leader, the RSM ensures that all regional activities align with the company’s commercial goals. Success in this role depends on:

  • Leading and developing a field sales team of 4–8 Business Development Managers.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to maintain alignment across commercial functions and maximize regional performance.

Key Success Metrics

  • Acquisition: Growing the number of partner restaurants.
  • Activation: Enabling partner restaurants to increase sales and profitability.
  • Engagement: Building loyalty and retention through strong partnerships and excellent account management.
  • Talent Development: Coaching, mentoring, and empowering the Business Development team to achieve peak performance.

Strategic Objectives

Working alongside other national and international RSMs, the RSM will also:

  • Report on and forecast commercial performance.
  • Identify weaknesses and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and launch new initiatives, solutions, and business opportunities.
  • Implement and roll out new services and products.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Leadership

  • Analyse market opportunities and challenges within the region.
  • Drive restaurant acquisition and ensure seamless onboarding.
  • Maximise turnover and profitability for existing partner restaurants.
  • Monitor and improve the impact of marketing activities.
  • Ensure operational excellence across all regional processes.
  • Manage and support key accounts.

Team Leadership

  • Provide daily management and support to 4–8 Business Development Managers.
  • Lead by example with a visible and supportive presence in the field.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions.
  • Guide team members in achieving professional development goals.
  • Support recruitment, training, and onboarding of new team members.
  • Foster collaboration, innovation, and a positive team culture.
  • Manage performance, resolve conflicts, and promote continuous growth.

General Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process and performance improvements.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, supportive, and motivating work environment.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Restaurant Acquisition: Growth in the number of partner restaurants.
  • Restaurant Activation: Commercial success of partner restaurants online.
  • Restaurant Profitability: Continuous improvement in partner restaurant profitability.
