What you’ll be doing

Clearing & Settlement is a highly skilled team within Operations, dedicated to ensuring timely settlement. The team is composed of professionals with diverse expertise and backgrounds who collaborate to execute daily business to the highest standard while driving innovation, improving efficiency, and enhancing the customer experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitor settlements with multiple brokers
• Investigate discrepancies and coordinate corrections with respective teams/brokers
• Proactively chase counterparties to resolve settlement issues
• Resolve problems from unmatched items and implement long-term solutions for recurring issues
• Document exceptions to support development of smooth automated processes
• Support Product Managers in defining detailed functional requirements for new processes
• Involvement in projects and system improvements/testing activities

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business, Economics or equivalent
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience within Securities Services
• Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment, and solid organizational and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of transfer life cycle and familiarity with post-trade operations and securities settlement
• Team player who is collaborative yet able to work independently
• Hands-on experience in post-trade operations
• Knowledge of SWIFT, Clearstream Xact and Xitaro is advantageous
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
