Job Description
Are you an SAP Finance consultant with a rich experience in transformation programs and global deployments? Would you like to further expand the scale and canvas of what you have done so far? As a solution architect for Finance, you will participate in an end-to-end journey which includes:

• Generating leads from your key customers based on consulting-based ideas
• Co-creating the next generation business models and business processes which give your clients that definitive edge over their competition or enable them to become undisputable cost leaders
• Synthesizing E2E processes running across planning, sales, procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, plant maintenance, customer service etc.
• Building solution roadmaps for your customers transformation journey riding on SAP best practices, solutions for Finance area with cutting edge solutions
• Identifying opportunities for digitization and automation leveraging AI, Blockchain, IoT, RPA and other levers
• Participating in assessments, due diligences, transformation workshops
• Guiding and supporting your customers to build a business case for the transformation initiatives for your area
• Driving engagement directly with the business on the customer side and speaking business language.
• Realizing Business Blueprints, Proof of Concepts, Transformation Plans, Change Impacts and Learning Content
• Moderating large workshops representing business domain finance and guiding your clients to build a solution vision and identify requirements, gaps, and roadblocks
• Delivering S4 Hana minimum viable products, templates, complete products, and pilots in your area
• Obtaining buy-ins and acceptance from the business on your delivered products
• Participating in product roadmap discussion with partners like SAP etc. in delivering joint synergy and value to your customers
• Providing an independent point of view to the customer based on your experience and product roadmaps from SAP and other software vendors

As a leader and senior of the team, you will be responsible for mentoring the people who will work in your team or track, as well as their results. Your team will expect you to be a hands-on leader, completely approachable for them to understand their constraints and concerns in providing solutions, estimates or plan for their deliverables, completely reliable for solution reviews and transparent feedback for them to improve.

As the face of Infosys to the stakeholders of the business, you will be responsible to bring best practices on business processes from your experience, converse with them by bringing process data, metrics and process capability, provide multiple process and solution options, demonstrate the value of each of the options and provide deliver a harmonized / optimized solution.

Knowledge / Skills required

• As part of Finance Transformation, Experience in initiatives like Shared Services, BPO, new Finance steering models expected
• Delivering CXO advisory services including Vision, Strategy, roadmap and business case.
• Methodology know-how – Activate, Agile, Template-based Deployment
• Experience in finance first approach and transformation roadmap
• Universal parallel accounting and multi-dimensional reporting
• Advanced financial close to help customers to improve governance and compliance, drive efficiency, and gain transparency
• Experience in IFRS 15 and RE-FX
• Event based revenue recognition
• EU taxonomy for the sustainable economic decisions
• Advanced compliance reporting
• Treasury and bank interfaces
• Credit management and FSCM
• AI use cases in AP and AR
• Material ledger and product costing
• Profit centre accounting
• Transition to accounting based COPA
• SAC / BPC based financial planning
• Finance first approach - guess this would include Central Finance
• Taxation: Corporate Taxes, International Group Tax liabilities, Principal Models
• S/4-BTP extended solutions like Cash Management

Preferred skills

• Successful SAP full cycle implementations or global plant rollouts as solution architect or process area lead
• Experience in working with location business managers as well as in-depth knowledge of business processes, roadmap definitions, fit-gap analysis and change management.
• Recognizable traits for people management including team mentoring and driving grounds-up innovation.
• Ability to drive consulting-based sales by identifying needs and proactively providing solution ideas which can be turned into projects
• Good analytical and logical problem-solving skills combined with the talent to quickly grasp new tasks.
