Overview

In this role, you are globally responsible for definition and implementation of our plant logistics strategy, contributing to the achievement of Global Manufacturing strategic targets. You will interface with key global experts and business owners across Hilti with the objective of increasing customer experience, employee experience, efficiency & effectiveness, and compliance for our core business process. This position will be based in Kaufering, Germany. This full-time position is available as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

With this role you will be supporting, overseeing and optimizing Logistics management of our production network, which involves inbound logistics, inventory optimization, production flow and warehouse and distribution management within the individual plant as well as across our global production network. You will collaborate with key peers in the organization, such as Business Units and Global Logistics. By collaborating within process communities, you will be responsible for the definition, implementation and improvement of a state-of-the-art process management system (process, data, system, organizational structure) with the objective of increasing customer experience, employee experience, efficiency & effectiveness, and compliance for a business process. You enable efficient onboarding of new users, qualification of experts by knowledge management through adequate documentation and providing trainings. You will report on progress KPIs, suggest and support local improvement actions, and lead workshops with internal and, occasionally, external stakeholders (e.g. consultants, software providers).

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
  • Extensive years of work experience in the field of logistics in a manufacturing environment, wide knowledge in inventory, warehousing, demand planning, and detailed scheduling
  • Excellent conceptual and analytical skills paired with strong project management knowledge
  • Proven experience in process governance and defining and implementing strategic transformation of the organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills to successfully perform in a global matrix and across all vertical levels and demonstrated ability in executive stakeholder management
  • Fluency in spoken and written English, German beneficial
