Overview
Lead Project Manager (f/m/d) with end-to-end ownership of a product development project, overseeing multiple sub-projects within the organization to ensure strategic alignment and successful execution. Responsible for managing complex, high-impact development initiatives with a focus on quality, time, and cost.
Responsibilities
- Project Ownership: Take full ownership for a product development project and oversee multiple sub-projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and successful execution.
- Technical Project Management: Possess deep understanding of technical processes, coordinate cross-functional teams, identify issues early, and implement effective solutions to drive project success.
- Strategic Project Coordination: Define objectives, manage project teams, coordinate cross-functional collaboration, plan across multiple disciplines, and monitor progress to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Operational Excellence: Establish robust monitoring mechanisms, manage risks, ensure quality assurance, act as primary liaison for stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement while mentoring other project managers.
- Deliverables Management: Plan, track, and manage project deliverables, coordinate cross-functional teams, and report key performance indicators to leadership for transparency and accountability.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or Diploma in Engineering or Science (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Materials) to understand technical aspects and communicate effectively with the team.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in project management within a high-tech industry, focusing on complex product development; PMP certification required.
- Personality: Experience leading distributed teams, strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, proven ability to build and manage relationships across organizational levels; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Language: Fluent in German and English (verbal and written).
