If you answered yes, read on to become our new Technical Service Manager!

We are looking for a full-time resource whose ambition it is to provide best in class technical service and application support to our direct customers in the glass processing industry and to build sustainable customer and downstream relationships. Ideally, the candidate should have a customer-focused mindset with superb interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple customer interactions concurrently.

Responsibilities

1. You ensure Everlam’s Interlayer is processed flawlessly by providing best in class glass lamination and application support in a B2B environment.
2. You complement the Regional Sales Managers to meet the business objectives in the DACH/ Central Europe region.
3. You develop and maintain sustainable relationships with customers.
4. You support product qualifications and identify opportunities to increase productivity at the customer and Everlam.
5. You provide product, processing and application support to customers.
6. You can independently troubleshoot and resolve product performance and processing issues.
7. You collect competitive intelligence and you keep abreast of developments and trends in the laminated glass business.
8. You maintain a network in the glass processing industry.
9. You help to generate application data and coordinate programs with external test institutes.

Qualifications and Competencies

1. Degree in Chemical Engineering/Material Science/Chemistry/Civil engineering
2. Strong interest in glass applications in the Building Industry
3. Superb analytical, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
4. Great interpersonal and communication skills at all levels in the organization
5. Able to work independently whilst remaining an excellent team player
6. Able to articulate technical customer needs within the organization
7. Fluent in German and English
8. 5-10 years of working experience in similar industry or chemical operations industry
9. You are based in Germany preferable in the Hamm, Uentrop region as very regular presence at the Operations Plant is required.
10. After an intensive training period, 30-50% travel is expected.

• Gross annual salary range 70K – 80K (factor monthly gross x 13)
