Role Overview:

As a full-time Venture Capital Associate at Ananda, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic world of impact investing. Collaborate with seasoned investment professionals to scout, evaluate, and support groundbreaking startups in the deep tech impact sector. Your role is crucial in identifying and nurturing the next wave of innovation that aligns with our commitment to societal and environmental betterment.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify and screen promising investment opportunities in the impact space.
• Facilitate all stages of the investment process from initial screening to deal closure, including due diligence and the preparation of investment documentation for committee approval.
• Engage with and expand our vibrant ecosystem of tech innovators, entrepreneurs, and impact-driven businesses across Europe.
• Represent Ananda at industry events, enhancing our presence, and network within the impact investing community.

What We Look For:

• Experience: 1-3 years in early-stage deal-making in VC or angel transactions, or in an operational role within a startup environment.
• Education: A degree in Engineering, Technology, Science, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Network: Well-connected within the German and/or broader European early-stage ecosystem.
• Skills: Adept in evaluating seed and early-stage companies with a genuine passion for impact investing.
• Excellent communication abilities and fluency in English.
