United Offshore Support GmbH is one of the main Global Players in the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry running a fleet of world-wide operating Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels.

We are currently looking for aHR Superintendent / Crewing Officer – Operations & Administration (f/m/d) to work in our offices located in Leer, Germany.

Responsibilities:

• Manages crew travel with all related logistics. Plans crew changes and travel arrangements cost-effectively. (Main contact for regular communication with fleet personnel)
• Prepares the offshore rotation schedules to ensure that all vessels are adequately manned with suitably trained and competent personnel in all disciplines.
• Responsible for managing visa arrangements and work permits, while ensuring personnel files in the database are consistently updated and accurately maintained
• Control and maintenance of crew certification
• Monitors the compliance of national and international labor law and maritime legislations such as STCW, MLC and others.
• Takes part in the recruitment process, this includes the search, interview, appointment and reference checks of crew.
• Oversees the training matrix and ensures that crew is equipped with the right training to comply with tender requirements, maritime legislations and company standards.
• Responsible for budget setup, maintenance, analysis, provision of budget lists, calculation of costs for internal and external partners, cost control, sets up accruals.
• Completion of tender documents for the crewing requirements.
• Partner with travel agents, local agencies, manning agencies, and international authorities.
• Flag State Applications.
• General HR administrative duties, support and assistance to the crew members.

Qualifications:

• Degree or experience in HR, Nautical Science or similar
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in related field preferable within an international shipping company
• Open and flexible
• Strong organizational, management and communication skills
• Extensive experience with STCW and MLC regulations
• Experienced in working with people of various cultures and backgrounds.
• Good knowledge in MS Office
• Fluency in English. German is a great plus
