(Senior) iOS Developer - Holidu Guests (f/m/d)

Your future team

You'll be part of a dynamic cross-functional agile product team. Our team's mission is to enhance our native applications and improve the services we offer to our customers post-booking. You'll work on creating innovative features that elevate the customer experience and foster customer loyalty to Holidu.

Our Tech Stack

We leverage a micro-service architecture and utilize:

• Backend: Java 21 and Kotlin with Spring Boot.
• Data Storage: Elasticsearch 7, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.
• Streaming/Queuing: Kafka, ActiveMQ.
• DevOps: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Git.
• Web & Node.js Applications: Written in TypeScript.
• Mobile Apps: Native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin).
• Monitoring: ELK, Grafana, and custom internal tools.

Your role in this journey

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver exceptional products on iOS.
• Develop efficient, reusable mobile components in Swift and architect scalable, reliable mobile solutions.
• Conduct data-driven experiments to find opportunities and monitor your work.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement and advocate for best practices.

Your backpack is filled with

• 4+ years of professional experience in iOS development role.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Experience in building and deploying native iOS applications, ideally those available in the App Store.
• Strong engineering and coding skills.
• Experience with other languages (Java, JavaScript) and platforms (Spring Framework, Node.js, React) is a plus.
• Understanding of data structures and architectures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, technical teams, and management to gather requirements and describe product features and technical designs.
