We are looking for an Analyst in Applications Support to join our team. This role involves ensuring all problem tickets are completed accurately and in a timely manner, conducting troubleshooting and analysis to resolve issues, and monitoring system performance.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all problem tickets are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Conduct troubleshooting and analysis and work issues to resolution, with minimal assistance.
Monitor system performance and utilize system monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues and ensure system effectiveness.
Ensure the resolution or escalation of critical issues to Application Support, Operations or Development staff.
Skills
Advanced system administration and application support skills.
Knowledge of standard ITIL processes.
Experience with industry-standard Service Desk Tools.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Client-focused approach to work.
A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning.
Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail.
Willingness to work in a matrix environment and to value the importance of teamwork.
Technical and functional expertise on the Veeva Vault applications.
Coordinate with Veeva Managed Services for Veeva product release and resolution of issues in the application.
Some experience in application development using Java (common frameworks), the development of Web Services, and PL/SQL, is a plus.
Education
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical area (Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering) preferred or technical training certificate and equivalent experience.
Language Skills
Native language and proficiency in verbal and written English.
Minimum Work Experience
Work experience in the Veeva Vault applications.
Complex system administration and application support experience in a global environment.
Some experience in application development is a plus.
