Qualifikationen

• 3+ Jahre Erfahrung als Genehmigungsingenieur oder in einer ähnlichen Rolle.
• Erfahrung im Management des Genehmigungs- und Zertifizierungsprozesses.

Aufgaben

• Verwaltung des gesamten Genehmigungsprozesses von der ersten Bewertung bis zur endgültigen Zertifizierung.
• Zusammenarbeit mit internen und externen Testlaboren zur Durchführung von Tests.

About the role

We are searching for a passionate, reliable Approbation Engineer, also known as Certificate Manager, to join our growing Hardware team.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our charging stations comply with both German and European regulations. You will play a critical role in obtaining the necessary approvals and certifications to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

About you

• 3+ years of experience as an Approval Engineer or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of German and European regulations and standards related to charging stations for electric cars.
• Proven experience managing the approval and certification process for electrical products.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Excellent command in English; German is a plus.

About your tasks

• Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with the latest German and European regulations and standards related to charging stations for electric cars. Interpret and apply these regulations to our product design and development processes.
• Approval Process Management: Manage the entire approval process, from initial assessment to final certification. This includes coordinating with relevant regulatory bodies, preparing documentation, and facilitating product testing as required.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain all documentation required for approvals, including technical specifications, test reports, and compliance records. Ensure that all documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
• Testing and Evaluation: Collaborate with internal and external testing laboratories to conduct tests and evaluations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Analyze test results and make recommendations for product improvements as necessary.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and compliance issues early in the product development process and work with cross-functional teams to address them effectively.
• Certification Management: Oversee the certification process, ensuring that all necessary certifications are obtained in a timely manner. Maintain a database of certifications and expiration dates for our products.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, engineering, and quality assurance teams to integrate compliance requirements into the product design and development lifecycle.
