Responsibilities
  • Oversee quality control in Stratasys’ benchmarking centre and support the wider workflow across the facility.
  • Assist customers through the full AM workflow: conceptualisation with the customer, introduction to printing, machine operation, 3D design, and quality control.
  • Help customers implement additive manufacturing into their production and collaborate with colleagues to meet customer needs.
  • Manage daily benchmarking requests, monitor running prints, and promptly update customers on progress.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, regional technical engineers) to gather feedback, address issues, and share design ideas for sample parts.
  • Host tours for prospective customers and participate in trade shows to discuss industry needs and AM solutions.
  • Develop and communicate printing parameters and quality control checklists; create related documentation to inform customers.
  • Engage in training and upskilling activities, such as Customer Service Engineer training for PolyJet technology, to support on-site machine maintenance and calibration.
  • Stay connected with industry developments and continuously generate ideas for part designs and testing.
Pathway / Background
  • Vasia has a Mechanical Engineering background from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (diploma 2019) and has held roles in mechanical design and engineering in Greece before joining Stratasys.
  • Experience includes testing materials and parameters across multiple 3D printing technologies, design engineering work, and roles in start-ups and research centers.
  • Languages: multi-lingual, with ongoing language study (German and Japanese) to support her work in Germany.
