Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Newmarket for a Structural Packaging Designer. The role involves designing innovative but functional packaging solutions, creating samples, and working closely with sales to provide proactive advice to meet customer needs. There will also be an element of document control through the design department, including drawing sign off, providing tooling costs and working with production on machine routing and capabilities.

Relationships

b)Liaison with: Design Team, Production Team, Sales Team

Qualifications
  • Proficient in Impact CAD or similar software package
  • Excellent attention to detail, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate concepts clearly
  • Previous experience in structural packaging design or related fields
  • Relevant qualification in Packaging Design, Industrial Design, or a related field advantageous
