Qualifications

We’re looking for a Parts Associate to join our fast-paced Parts team. The Parts Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of inventory and exceptional customer service. This role involves managing inventory, assisting customers with parts selection, and supporting the daily operations of the parts department. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:
  • Assist customers with selecting parts and accessories, providing recommendations based on their needs.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, addressing customer inquiries, and directing calls to the appropriate departments as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal teams and external customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to safely move, load, and unload inventory as needed.
  • Perform regular inventory counts (including cycle counts) to ensure stock accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Manage inventory levels, including stocking shelves, organizing parts, and maintaining an orderly workspace.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues regarding parts, pricing, or availability in a professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Assist with parts procurement, including sourcing and special-order requests, to meet customer needs and maintain workflow efficiency.
What You Need:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years in a parts counterperson role.
Additional Strengths:
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, particularly in a retail or parts environment.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
