Job summary

A leading consulting firm is seeking an Infrastructure Divestment Delivery Manager to oversee the secure migration of IT services during divestment activities. The role requires collaboration with IT teams and the buyer to create migration plans, along with strong project management skills. Candidates should have a degree-level education and ideally PMP certification, as well as excellent communication skills and knowledge of network connectivity. German language skills are an advantage.

Qualifications

Job description
Infrastructure Divestment Delivery Manager

Location: 50/50 working model in either Sunbury or Gelsenkirchen (if UK-based, up to 25% travel to Germany should be expected with a 2‑week block during cut‑over in May)

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 30/06/2026

Responsibilities
  • As Infrastructure lead for divestment activity, you will be responsible for the secure migration and separation of IT services associated with Network connectivity and application hosting from the client’s environments to a new company.
  • In this role, you will collaborate closely with all other IT workstream leads to ensure a fully integrated plan is generated, resourced appropriately, utilising the client’s service line resources and executed agreement with the buyer, minimising impact to business operations.
  • You will also work closely with the buyer to create detailed migration plans according to their hosting strategies.
Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level or with suitable experience in managing technical digital projects
Requirements
  • A deep knowledge of the technical dependencies of Network connectivity, end‑user computing and Hosting
  • Ability to proactively identify issues and intervene early to avoid blockers in the programme.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to integrate with the broader digital workstreams to resolve technically challenging problems and generate appropriate plans to resolve.
  • Proven project management experience, ideally PMP certified or equivalent.
  • Use of Microsoft tools (ADO and Project) to generate and execute a fully integrated plan.
  • Previous Mergers, acquisitions and divestments experience would be preferable.
  • Previous experience working in the client’s Digital teams would be preferable; a creative thinker with the ability to use their extensive IT technical experience to resolve unexpected, complex IT problems.
  • German speaker would be advantageous.
