You will be joining a $1 Billion in revenue business unit dedicated to drive Chrome ecosystem along with industry partners such as Google, Intel, MediaTek etc. Formed in early 2022, the Chromebook business unit focuses on building a sustainable business model with product & solutions running in the Chrome OS. Aside from building industry-leading hardware, we also focus on architecting services, software and accessories that can position Chromebook as a viable E2E solution.
Responsibilities:
You will be the key link between customer and development as you will be working closely with customers to translate their needs/pain points into product requirements that can be quantifiable and executable in a business setting.
You will work alongside both hardware & ecosystem team to jointly define customer & market needs into solution products; collaborating & influencing industry partners to build new products that can help position Lenovo as a leading solution provider.
Basic Qualifications:
6+ years of IT admin experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related degree program
Experience in managing IT funding/Thorough understanding in IT budgeting
Expert in Google Chrome OS/Ecosystem
Preferred Qualifications:
Thorough knowledge in Chrome OS/Chromium Ecosystem
Previous experience in managing Chromebook fleet in a large school district/business
CIO background with experience working with OEM, channel partners and software vendors
Thorough knowledge in NA school system IT budget allocation & usage
