About the Role
As a Systems Engineering Team Lead at Babcock, you’ll take charge of a talented team of engineers, driving the design, integration, and delivery of complex system solutions.
You’ll own the definition and integrity of the system-level design, ensuring everything from requirements and risk management through to modelling and change control is expertly managed.
Your leadership will keep projects moving, ensuring designs are compliant, traceable, and ready for certification.
This is a role where technical excellence meets true leadership, and where your impact will be seen across the full lifecycle of major defence programs.
About You
You’re a confident and experienced Systems Engineer who thrives on solving complex challenges and bringing people together to deliver results.
You combine strong technical knowledge with natural leadership skills, empowering your team to perform at their best while maintaining a clear focus on safety, quality, and compliance.
You’ll bring a solid understanding of design, analysis, and integration techniques, along with experience managing governance frameworks and technical assurance in large, multi-stakeholder programs.
You’re also passionate about mentoring others, sharing knowledge, and driving continuous improvement.
