Qualifications

  • Graduate level to 3 years' PAE in law is required.
  • Defendant Workers' Compensation experience preferred.
  • In-house, insurer or applicant experience also valued.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with senior practitioners in managing workers' compensation claims.
  • Involve in complicated and sensitive claims, including those with media interest.
  • Mentor and guide the next generation of lawyers.

About the role

With ongoing growth in the firm, an opportunity has arisen in our vibrant Sydney Workers’ Compensation team for a junior Lawyer, from Graduate level up to 3 years’ PAE, to join us on a permanent full-time basis. This is a wonderful opportunity to work closely with senior practitioners with specialised expertise in managing workers compensation claims and recoveries.

With clients including NSW Government agencies, private sector employers and their insurers, this role will see you involved with some of the most complicated and sensitive claims, including those with media interest, catastrophic injuries and multi-party common law matters. The team are looking forward to mentoring and guiding the next generation of lawyers, so if career progression and mentorship are important to you, this could be the perfect opportunity.
