Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor and support a team of Area and Site Managers, ensuring they meet performance targets and deliver high quality outcomes across their regions.
  • Oversee the end to end construction workflow, ensuring KPIs, building codes, and contract requirements are consistently met.
  • Partner with the State Building Manager to execute construction strategies, achieve budgets, and implement process improvements across the department.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, trades, suppliers, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Drive continuous improvement by reviewing construction issues, defects, systems performance, scheduling practices, and product suitability, implementing necessary changes.
  • Support workforce planning through recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management for Site Managers, while fostering a culture of safety, quality and accountability.
About you
  • You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will have:
  • Demonstrated success in a senior construction management role, with project management capability.
  • Proven leadership experience, guiding teams within residential construction.
  • Strong working knowledge of building regulations to ensure all homes are delivered to the highest standards of compliance and quality.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to problem solve and resolve conflict effectively.
  • Hold a relevant building trade certificate and ideally bring tertiary qualifications in Building and Construction.
  • Full drivers license
