Business Support Officer | Infringements

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Business Support Officer (Infringements), and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.

As our Business Support Officer (Infringements) you will provide general administrative assistance to ensure effective and efficient delivery of end-to-end processes relating to council infringements.

This role involves detailed administrative tasks supporting infringement management processes. Responsibilities include handling customer requests, managing infringement offence data, and ensuring compliance with government contracts. The position contributes to a high-performing, customer-focused team environment.

You will have the opportunity to;

  • Conduct government agency searches and ensure compliance with related contracts and agreements.
  • Triage and process customer requests, link them to infringement notices, and allocate to relevant officers.
  • Manage data imports, create customer requests from emails, and finalise infringement reminder notices.
  • Assist with withdrawal requests for vehicle-related infringements and support efficient service delivery to stakeholders.

We are seeking someone who can provide exceptional administrative support and deliver accurate, timely assistance in a dynamic environment. The role requires strong communication skills to manage sensitive information and engage effectively with stakeholders. You will demonstrate a high level of customer focus, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, while quickly adapting to internal systems.

Success in this position relies on excellent time management and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for building positive relationships and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
