We are looking for a Business Support Officer to join One Legal’s Business Development team during a period of ongoing improvement and change. The role provides business, financial and systems support across the service and works closely with the Professional and Practice Development Manager.
This is not a legal role. The post holder will support and guide administrative assistants, help lawyers make effective use of systems and processes and contribute to projects focused on service improvement and system development. Experience of working on or supporting projects would be beneficial.
As part of the Business Development team, you will play a key role in promoting change and continuous improvement within a shared legal service working across local authority partner organisations.

This role is within One Legal. One Legal was launched in November 2009 and staff are employed by Tewkesbury Borough Council but One Legal is a shared legal service between Cheltenham and Tewkesbury Councils with Gloucester City and most recently Stroud District joining us in 2020. One Legal enjoys a greater pool of expertise and an improved skills base than could be retained individually by the four partners. This enables One Legal to successfully support the varied and complex legal work arising from the Councils’ challenging business agendas.
