Job summary

Job description
  • Full-time opportunity, with hybrid/flexible working arrangements
  • $135,000-145,000 + Super + Not-for-profit Salary packaging of up to $18,550

In this newly created position, you will play a pivotal role in activating our agency strategy focused on 4 strategic pillars, the role will ensure the harnessing of data from our 35+ programs and 30,000 clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams from the frontline and executive to champion the use of data across the agency to inform decision making.

About the role:

Some of your responsibilities will be:

  • Conducting regular audits to ensure data accuracy, completeness and integrity ensuring anomalies, outliers and errors are detected
  • Developing and maintain standardised reports and dashboard to monitor KPIs and track progress against organisational operational and strategic goals
  • Proactively identify gaps and inconsistencies in data systems and propose solutions to address them
  • Partnering with program managers and frontline staff to ensure data capture methods align with service delivery best practice and objectives
  • Analysing client demographics, preferences and outcomes to support personalised service delivery and person‑centred care

About you:

To be a successful candidate you will have:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Data Science, Statistics, Maths, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools, descriptive statistics to summarise and describe data (eg: mean, median, standard deviation)
  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a social services or health care setting
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively about complex issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and translate data insights into actionable recommendations that improve care outcomes
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices related to data privacy and security
