Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage multiple concurrent projects in ASME-coded pressure vessels, process equipment and structural steel fabrication.
- Lead end-to-end project management, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and quality control, to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Develop and enforce work procedures, execution plans, and contract-specific methodologies to align with client and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to specifications and standards, with a strong focus on materials selection, welding procedures, and coating/painting specifications.
- Take full ownership of resource planning, including but not limited to workforce recruitment, onboarding, and skill development, to optimize productivity and project efficiency.
- Serve as the primary liaison for client interactions, ensuring clear communication, timely project updates, and effective resolution of technical queries.
- Strategically plan and manage manpower, materials, and equipment logistics, ensuring all resources meet project specifications and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with procurement teams and external vendors to maintain seamless supply chain operations, guaranteeing the availability of high-quality materials with optimized cash flow management.
- Ensure HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) compliance, fostering a safe and efficient workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering
- 12-15 years relevant experience in Oil & Gas industry.
- Must possess at least ten years of construction experience in steel fabrication for the O&G, infrastructure and industrial sectors.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client-handling skills to ensure smooth project execution.
- GCC driving license is preferred but not mandatory
