Service & Maintenance Engineer

An established industry player is seeking a skilled Service & Maintenance Engineer to oversee the installation and maintenance of advanced CCTV and ELV systems. Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in CCTV & Milestone VMS installation and troubleshooting.
- Expert-level knowledge of Milestone VMS and IP CCTV systems.
- UAE Driving License is mandatory.

The Service & Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support of CCTV and other ELV systems, with a strong emphasis on Milestone Video Management Software (VMS). The role involves diagnosing technical faults, optimizing system performance, and ensuring the highest level of security and surveillance system functionality.
Salary: AED 10,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Milestone VMS, including system setup, camera integrations, and network configurations.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and software updates to ensure optimal performance of Milestone-based CCTV solutions.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of CCTV systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Ensure all NVRs, DVRs, and IP cameras are functioning correctly and meet client requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to CCTV, Milestone VMS, and network infrastructure.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Provide remote and onsite support to clients and end-users for troubleshooting Milestone-related issues.
- Work closely with the IT and security teams to optimize system performance.
- Ensure all installations comply with local security regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain detailed service records, including maintenance logs, system configurations, and issue resolutions.
- Prepare and submit technical reports and service documentation as required.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors to schedule maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, IT, or Communication Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in CCTV & Milestone VMS installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- UAE D/L is mandatory
- Expert-level knowledge of Milestone VMS (XProtect, Smart Client, Management Client).
- Strong expertise in IP CCTV systems, camera configurations, and networking.
- Ability to work with VMS integrations, analytics, and access control systems.
- Experience in server & storage solutions for large-scale surveillance systems.
- Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, PoE, RTSP, ONVIF).
- Milestone Certification advantageous
