The Projects Senior Specialist is responsible for managing multiple projects through the project lifecycle. The Senior Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the effective management of projects within University. This role is instrumental in maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and optimizing cross-functional projects’ performance.

• Manage projects throughout the project lifecycle as per industry standards (initiation, planning, executing, monitoring, closure).
• Manage projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, effective resource allocation, and scope of project.
• Provide support in the development of proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, timelines, funding, and staffing.
• Establish and implement project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
• Assist the Manager in the development and management of project budgets.
• Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
• Facilitate effective collaboration among project team members, ensuring alignment and understanding of project goals and expectations.
• Adhere to the University's information security and confidentiality policies and procedures, and report breaches or other security risks accordingly
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate the accomplishment of tasks and responsibilities, as and when needed
• Demonstrate a strong commitment and practice to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Masters degree preferred

• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, and industry best practices

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience with minimum 3 years in project management
