Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, scheduled, organized, controlled, and evaluated construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget.
  • Liaise closely with the design/engineering team and ensure the final design is timely developed and client approval is secured.
  • Prepare technical data sheets, material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, requests for proposals, and other construction-related correspondences and reports.
  • Develop detailed project plans and regularly monitor actual progress against established schedules and budgets.
  • Ensure that all the Company policies and procedures for ISO and OHSAS are strictly followed and maintained.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs and ensure variation orders are communicated timely to the clients.
  • Identify risks throughout the project lifecycle, analyze them, and ensure an effective response plan is implemented.
  • Perform project closeout walk-throughs with the client and verify that all project closeout documents and punch list items are completed.

Qualifications, Experiences & Skills

  • University Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of GCC experience in Project Management pertaining to water, wastewater, and industrial effluent, with at least four of which as Project Manager. PMP certification is a plus.
  • Experience with a manufacturing company in the field of water & wastewater treatment is preferable.
  • In-depth Technical knowledge of water and wastewater treatment process and its equipment - Mandatory.
  • Working Knowledge of Health & Safety.
  • Pro at Cost & Risk Analysis, AUTO CAD, ISO Knowledge & PM Software.
  • UAE Driving License is required.

Language Skills

  • English - fluent is a must.
  • Arabic - preferable.
  • German - would be an additional.
