Service & Maintenance Engineer

The Service & Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support of CCTV and other ELV systems, with a strong emphasis on Milestone Video Management Software (VMS). The role involves diagnosing technical faults, optimizing system performance, and ensuring the highest level of security and surveillance system functionality.

Salary: AED 10,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Milestone VMS, including system setup, camera integrations, and network configurations.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and software updates to ensure optimal performance of Milestone-based CCTV solutions.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of CCTV systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Ensure all NVRs, DVRs, and IP cameras are functioning correctly and meet client requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to CCTV, Milestone VMS, and network infrastructure.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Provide remote and onsite support to clients and end-users for troubleshooting Milestone-related issues.
• Work closely with the IT and security teams to optimize system performance.
• Ensure all installations comply with local security regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain detailed service records, including maintenance logs, system configurations, and issue resolutions.
• Prepare and submit technical reports and service documentation as required.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors to schedule maintenance and troubleshooting activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, IT, or Communication Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in CCTV & Milestone VMS installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• UAE D/L is mandatory
• Expert-level knowledge of Milestone VMS (XProtect, Smart Client, Management Client).
• Strong expertise in IP CCTV systems, camera configurations, and networking.
• Ability to work with VMS integrations, analytics, and access control systems.
• Experience in server & storage solutions for large-scale surveillance systems.
• Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, PoE, RTSP, ONVIF).
• Milestone Certification advantageous
