Job description

Main Purpose:

Lead and manage all procurement activities. Ensure the timely, cost-effective, and compliant purchase of goods and services to support organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures
  • Oversee daily purchasing operations, including vendor sourcing, selection, price negotiation, and contract management
  • Manage the full procurement cycle for both short-term and long-term purchasing needs
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and UAE regulations
  • Handle tendering processes and ensure best-value acquisitions
  • Review and approve procurement contracts; manage renewals and vendor performance
  • Establish systems to prevent fraud and ensure transparency
  • Monitor market trends and maintain supplier relationships
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet their procurement requirements efficiently
  • Oversee inventory management procedures to ensure proper stock levels and control
  • Guide procurement staff and ensure their performance and development

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's related field (required)
  • Master’s in Business Administration (preferred)
  • Professional certifications
  • 10+ years in procurement
  • 3+ years managing procurement teams
  • Experience with ERP systems like Oracle
