Senior Economist

Madison Pearl is partnering with a financial institution based in Abu Dhabi for a role of Senior Economist. The purpose of this role is to generate insights and providing valuable recommendations to key stakeholders by conducting in-depth economic and financial research.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Track the macroeconomic, financial, and social conditions at local, regional, and global levels.
2. Perform extensive market research and analysis, including benchmarking, trend identification, industry/entity profiling, forecasts, and policy assessments.
3. Review documents, highlight key points, and offer recommendations.
4. Leverage data and theoretical expertise to deliver objective and impactful conclusions.
5. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.

Key Requirements:

1. Master's degree in the field of Economics.
2. Minimum 6 years of experience in relevant firms (i.e., economic consultancy, credit rating agencies, banking, business intelligence, central banks, ministries, economic/financial research firms).
3. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
