Senior Associate, Middle East Coverage
Non-disclosed Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
The individual will support the Global Institutional Sales Team’s fundraising and relationship management initiatives in the Middle East across all client types.
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supporting business development and client service efforts
Providing high touch client service to existing investors in the region
Developing and maintaining knowledge of the firm’s product offerings, systems and processes to support and service client relationships
Updating pipeline information and managing client/prospect relationship information in the CRM
Summarising client and prospect meetings and documenting in the CRM
Collaborating with members of the Direct Lending, Product Specialist, Compliance and Operations Teams to coordinate client meetings and presentation materials
Preparing and reviewing meeting preparation.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years of experience in a similar role at an alternative or traditional asset management firm
Previous experience covering the Middle East region
Experience working within a CRM database; Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus
Self-managed, high energy and highly driven by relationship management
Strong proactive problem-solving abilities; demonstrated time management and organisation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong detail orientation and meticulous accuracy
Ability to take initiative and work independently while demonstrating strong collaboration
Ability to multi-task, problem solve and adapt to changing priorities
