Job description

Job Responsibilities
  • To successfully handle accounts, build strong client relationships, and manage client requirements at all times.
  • To work closely with Account Managers and support them on their requirements for their clients.
  • Measure and produce reports on PR KPIs and each PR campaign.
  • Be creative and actively participate in the formation of new ideas and strategies to better serve clients.
  • Write press releases, news stories, articles, case studies, and product pieces.
  • Arrange interviews and editorial meetings with key journalists for clients' spokespeople in collaboration with MR, either in person or over the phone, and facilitate these meetings where appropriate.
  • Monitor media coverage and report results to the wider team and clients.
  • Attend client events and industry conferences.
  • Make correct decisions internally and externally that positively impact our standards.
  • Have complete awareness of media representatives and the ability to distribute clients' press releases, features, and articles to the media.
  • Provide input for 360 comms and organizational works and flagships.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and build strong relations with other departments to understand the clients' requirements.
Requirements
  • Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a relevant field.
  • Prior experience working in a PR agency, press office, or fast-paced media environment is preferable.
  • Event planning experience.
  • High levels of communication skills - both presentation, verbal, and written (Arabic and English).
  • Excellent project/program management, work planning, personal organization, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects while utilizing internal and external resources.
  • Great PR & Communication industry knowledge and experience in building influential networks.
